The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 2 cups rinsed and finely chopped methi (fenugreek leaves) (packed)
- 1 cup frozen matar (green peas) (if using fresh peas, cook them in water until tender.)
- 1 cup sliced onions
- 1 teaspoon chopped ginger
- 1 teaspoon chopped garlic
- 1/2 cup cashew nuts
- 1/2 cup chopped tomatoes
- 2 teaspoons chopped green chilies
- 4 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 3 whole green cardamoms (hari elaichi)
- 1 inch piece of cinnamon stick (dalchini)
- 1 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
- 1 teaspoon Kashmiri red chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garam masala powder
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 cup unsweetened heavy cream (or whisked malai)
- 1 teaspoon freshly squeezed lime juice
