Ingredients

The following ingredients have 9 Servings
  • 1 box Red Velvet cake mix
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 c. butter (softened)
  • 4 oz. sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 c. white chocolate chips
  • 1/2 c. chopped almonds

Instruction

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Grease a 9 x 9" pan.
  • Mix cake mix, egg and butter together.
  • Divide dough in thirds. Press 2/3 of the dough in the bottom of the pan.
  • Bake for 6 minutes
  • Drizzle sweetened condensed milk on top of baked crust. Sprinkle chocolate chips and walnuts over sweetened condensed milk.
  • Drop remaining 1/3 cake dough over the sweetened condensed milk layer. The dough is a little sticky and hard to place. I use my fingers to try and smooth it out as best as I can. It's okay if it doesn't completely cover the sweetened condensed milk layer. It will fill in as it bakes.
  • Bake for an additional 20-23 minutes.
