Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 3 cups flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 cup dried parsley (a cupped palmful )
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup milk
- 3/4 cup sour cream or plain Greek yogurt
- 3 tablespoons melted butter
- 1 egg, beaten
Instruction
- Preheat the oven to 350°F/180°C and prepare a 9x5" loaf pan with baking spray
- Measure the dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Stir the cheese in and use your fingers to break up any clumps.
- In a separate bowl, beat all the wet ingredients together.
- Mix the wet ingredients into the dry until just mixed, a few lumps are ok.
- Transfer to the loaf pan and bake for 45 - 50 minutes. Cover the top with foil if necessary to prevent over browning.
- After baking remove the loaf from the pan and allow to cool completely before slicing.
