Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 4 cups Boiled or Steamed Rice
- ½ cup boiled peas
- 2 medium-sized Onions
- 1 big green capsicum
- ½ cup finely chopped Coriander Leaves
- 1 small chopped tomato
- 6-7 cloves of chopped Garlic
- 1 tbsp Cumin Seeds (Jeera)
- 8-10 chopped cashew nuts
- 3 tbsp Butter Or Oil
- 2 Green Chilies chopped finely
- 1 t/s Turmeric (Haldi)
- 2 t/s Pav Bhaji Masala
- 1 tbsp Garam Masala
- ½ t/s Red Chili Powder
- Salt as per taste
Instruction
- Take a pan and add butter or oil.
- Once it is hot add cumin seeds and when they crackle stir in chopped Garlic and cashew nuts.
- Sauté for a minute on low fire.
- Now add chopped Onions and capsicums. Sauté until they are crispy and golden brown.
- Now add the chopped tomatoes and boiled peas. Wait until tomatoes water dries up.
- Add pav bhaji masala and all the other spices and stir well.
- Let the vegetable cook for 2 to 3 mins. Combine well with a spoon very carefully.
- Once all the masalas and vegetables blend well its time to add the rice.
- Add steamed rice little by gently stirring in.
- Mix the rice well with the Masalas and veggies without stirring it often and taking care that the rice grain doesn't break.
- Switch off the stove and garnish the Tawa pulao with some fresh coriander leaves and serve Tawa Pulao hot with Papad and Raita.
