Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 1/2 cup Instant Oats
- 1/2 cup Rice (preferably Basmati Rice)
- 2 tbsp Sugar
- 4 cups Milk
- 1 tbsp Ghee
- HANDFUL OF PISTACHIOS AND DRY ROSE PETALS FOR GARNISHING
Instruction
- Heat ghee in a pan and roast oats till they are light brown in color and the raw smell subsides.
- Add 2 cups of milk and let the oats cook in it.
- Once oats absorb the milk and thicken add sugar and rest 2 cups of milk.
- At this point add cardamom powder and stir everything properly so that it doesn’t stick to the pan.
- Keep stirring till the Oats kheer is creamy and thick.
- Remove from the stove and let it cool.
- Garnish oats kheer with roasted almonds, pistachios, and dry rose petals.
- Refrigerate it for 2 hours and relish it cold.
