Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 1 cup long pieces of French beans
  • 1 cup long pieces of red bell pepper
  • 1 cup long pieces of onion
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • Salt as required
  • 2 tbsp white sesame seeds
  • 1 tbsp soya sauce
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • Salt to taste

Instruction

  • Boil the French beans in salted water. When cooked, drain off the water and pour cold water over them to retain their color.
  • Saute onions and red bell pepper in olive oil for 4-5 minutes and mix the French beans in it.
  • Roast the sesame seeds on a low flame. Grind them coarsely in a mortar and a pestle. Grinding gives a good aroma.
  • Add the soya sauce, salt, and sugar and mix well.
  • Mix the sauce evenly with the vegetables.
  • Transfer the salad onto a serving bowl.
  • Have it warm or at room temperature.
