Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 1 pound(s) ground beef, deer, or your favorite mixture
- 1 clove(s) garlic, chopped
- 1 small onion or to taste, chopped
- 1-15 ounce(s) tomato sauce
- 1-2 tablespoon(s) chili powder (I like more)
- 1/2 teaspoon(s) ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon(s) ground oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon(s) salt
- 1 can(s) Rotel (10 oz)
- 1/4 teaspoon(s) cayenne pepper, to taste
- 1 - poblano pepper, chopped
Instruction
- Place the ground beef in a large pot with garlic, and onion. Cook over medium heat until browned. Drain off the excess fat.
- Add beef to a slow cooker. Add tomato sauce, chili powder, cumin, oregano, salt, Rotel, and cayenne to the slow cooker. Stir together well.
- Cover, and cook on high for 2-3 hours or on low for 4-6 hours, stirring occasionally. If the mixture becomes overly dry, add water at a time as needed. If it’s too watery, thicken it with corn starch dissolved in a little water.
