- 4 strawberries
- ¼ cup chopped beets (raw or roasted)
- 1 tsp lemon juice (5 mL)
- 1 tsp honey (5 mL)
- ½ carrot (peeled and grated)
- 1 tsp fresh grated ginger (5 g)
- 1 tsp honey (5 mL)
- Pinch ground turmeric
- ½ banana
- 2 tsp fresh grated ginger (10 g)
- 1 tsp lemon juice (5 mL)
- Pinch ground turmeric
- 1 cup fresh spinach (30 g)
- 1 tsp fresh grated ginger (5 g)
- 1 tsp lemon juice (5 mL)
- 1 tsp honey (5 mL)
Instruction
- Blend: Choose which smoothie shot you want to make, then add its ingredients to a blender, along with 1 or 2 tablespoons of water. Blend until smooth, adding a touch more water as needed to get things moving.
- Strain (Optional): If making the red or yellow smoothie, serve fresh from the blender. If making the orange or green smoothie, you may want to strain it through a fine mesh sieve. Pour juice into a shot glass and serve.
