Ingredients

The following ingredients have 12 Servings
  • 1 large red onion, peeled and very thinly sliced
  • 3/4 cup apple cider or white vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1–2 tablespoons granulated sugar

Instruction

  • In a small saucepan, bring the vinegar, salt, and sugar to a boil.
  • Place onions in a jar and pour hot vinegar mixture over them, pressing onions down into liquid.
  • Let cool to room temperature, then cover and chill until ready to use. Will keep in refrigerator for 3-4 weeks. Enjoy!
