Ingredients

The following ingredients have 3 Servings
  • 1 large purple onion (or two small)
  • 1 1/2 cups apple cider vinegar (or white vinegar)
  • 2 tablespoons granulated white sugar (or your preferred sweetner such as honey or agave)
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons kosher salt

Instruction

  • peel and slice onion thinly
  • combine vinegar, sugar and salt in microwave safe bowl or measuring cup. Stir. Heat for two minutes in microwave. Stir again making sure all sugar and salt is dissolved.
  • Place half of onions in each jar. Pour half of vinegar mixture over onions.
  • Put lid on and shake.
  • Store in refridgerator for at least one hour before serving and up to two weeks.
