Ingredients

The following ingredients have 2 Servings
  • 14 1/2 ounces canned diced tomatoes, no-salt added preferred
  • 1/2 sweet onion
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instruction

  • In a 4-quart sauce pan, add the diced tomatoes (with all of the juices from the can), the onion, unsalted butter, oregano, and salt. Turn the heat to medium, cover and maintain a bare simmer for 25 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove the onion before serving.
