Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- ¼ cup butter (salted or unsalted, use vegan if necessary)
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice (fresh or bottled)
- 1 tablespoon white wine vinegar (or any vinegar)
- 16 ounces cremini (baby bella) mushrooms (sliced (be certain to clean the dirt off of the mushrooms if needed))
- 1 sprig fresh thyme (optional)
- salt (to taste)
- ground black pepper (to taste)
Instruction
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add the butter, olive oil, lemon juice and vinegar. Stir until the butter has melted.
- Add the mushrooms to the pan, and the thyme if using. If using a small skillet, you want to aim for one single layer of mushrooms, so cook in batches if need be.
- Cook, stirring frequently about five minutes, or until the mushrooms soften a little and begin to turn golden.
- Turn off the heat, season with salt and pepper, serve and enjoy!
