Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 1 tablespoon olive oil or 1/4 cup water for water saute
- 2 (15 oz) cans pinto beans, drained and rinsed
- 1/2 cup (120ml) water or vegetable broth
- 1/2 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano, optional
- mineral salt & pepper, to taste
Instruction
- In a medium sauce pan, heat oil or water, saute onions for 5 minutes, add garlic saute for 1 more minute.
- Add in the beans, spices and water, bring to a simmer, and cook for 5 minutes.
