Ingredients
The following ingredients have 2 Servings
- 2 chicken breast fillets
- 2 single serving boxes of Tikka Masala Gravy from India in a Box
- 1 1/2 cups water
- cooking oil spray
- basmati rice for serving
Instruction
- Heat a pan on medium high with cooking oil spray. Add the chicken breasts, cook for 2 minutes on on side so that it starts to brown slightly. Turn over, cook for another 2 minutes, then remove chicken from pan. Set aside on a plate.
- When the chicken has cooled a bit, cut it into half-inch thick slices.
- Empty the contents of the Tikka Masala Gravy mixture into the pan along with the water. Bring the water to a boil, then reduce to simmer.
- Stir the Masala Gravy frequently as it simmers for 3 to 4 minutes. Add the chicken slices into the gravy, and simmer for about 10 more minutes, stirring often, until the chicken is cooked through.
- Serve the chicken tikka masala over rice, and with an Italian sparkling wine, if you are so inclined.
