The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 1 carrot
- thick slices of cucumber
Instruction
- Wash and peel the carrot. Using a julienne peeler, cut the carrot into thin straw-like strips. If you don't have a julienne peeler, use a sharp knife to cut the carrot into really thin strips or grate the carrot instead.
- Pile the carrot into cupcake cases (I use brightly coloured silicone cases) or small ramekins, shaping into a rough nest with your fingers.
- Cut egg shapes from the cucumber slices using an oval shaped mini bento cutter. Pop a few into each nest and serve.
