Ingredients

The following ingredients have 51 Servings
  • 2 cups butter (at room temperature)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup tightly packed brown sugar
  • 2 cups pumpkin puree (or 1 15-ounce can)
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 4 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 3 1/2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 batch Maple Glaze (see recipe below)
  • Raisins
  • Nuts (I used pecans, but Vince thought walnuts would be better.)
  • Chocolate chips
  • 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar (sifted)
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 Tablespoons melted butter
  • 3/4 teaspoon vanilla
  • 6 Tablespoons maple syrup (using real gives a MUCH better flavor profile)
