- 1/2 cup(s) Crisco shortening
- 1 1/2 cup(s) sugar
- 1 - egg
- 1 teaspoon(s) vanilla
- 1 cup(s) pumpkin, canned
- 1 teaspoon(s) vanilla
- 2 3/4 cup(s) all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon(s) baking soda
- 1 teaspoon(s) baking powder
- 1 teaspoon(s) salt
- 1 teaspoon(s) pumpkin pie spice
- 1 teaspoon(s) cinnamon
- 1/2 cup(s) walnuts or pecans, chopped
- 1 cup(s) semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup(s) powdered sugar
Instruction
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line your cookie sheets with parchment paper.
- In an electric mixer, cream together shortening and sugar until fluffy and light in color.
- Add egg, vanilla, and pumpkin.
- In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda, salt, pumpkin pie spice, and cinnamon.
- Gradually add to creamed mixture.
- Stir in nuts and chocolate chips.
- Drop dough by teaspoonful's onto parchment lined baking sheet. Bake for 14-15 minutes or until lightly browned.
- Cool on racks.
- When cool dust with powdered sugar. Enjoy!
