Ingredients

The following ingredients have 12 Servings
  • 1- (15-ounce) can pumpkin puree
  • 1- (15-ounce) can chick peas
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh sage
  • 1 tablespoon minced red onion
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 cup self rising flour
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • canola oil ((for frying))

Instruction

  • Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and mix until well blended. Heat about 1/2-inch of oil in a large frying pan over medium high heat; then add a kitchen tablespoon full of mixture to the oil.
  • Flatten the fritter slightly and fry 2-3 minutes on each until golden brown. Place them on a plate lined with paper towels to drain the excess oil; then serve hot.
