Ingredients
The following ingredients have 12 Servings
- 1- (15-ounce) can pumpkin puree
- 1- (15-ounce) can chick peas
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh sage
- 1 tablespoon minced red onion
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 cup self rising flour
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
- canola oil ((for frying))
Instruction
- Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and mix until well blended. Heat about 1/2-inch of oil in a large frying pan over medium high heat; then add a kitchen tablespoon full of mixture to the oil.
- Flatten the fritter slightly and fry 2-3 minutes on each until golden brown. Place them on a plate lined with paper towels to drain the excess oil; then serve hot.
