Ingredients

The following ingredients have 12 Servings
  • 1 cup uncooked macaroni noodles
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon ground mustard
  • ¾ cup milk
  • 1 cup grated sharp cheddar cheese
  • 12 slider buns
  • 2-3 tablespoons butter
  • 24 oz. prepared pulled pork (shredded (approximately 3 cups))
  • 3 tablespoons melted butter
  • ½ teaspoon garlic salt
  • ½ teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese

Instruction

  • Preheat oven to 350℉. Cook macaroni according to package instructions. Drain.
  • While macaroni is cooking, melt butter in a small saucepan on medium heat. Whisk in flour, salt, pepper, and ground mustard and cook for 1 minute, whisking continually.
  • Turn heat to medium high and gradually whisk in milk and stir until thickened.
  • Whisk in cheese until melted. Set aside.
  • Heat pulled pork in microwave according to package.
  • Using a large serrated knife, cut slider buns in half. Spread bottom half of buns with 2-3 tablespoons of butter and place in greased 9x13 pan.
  • Spread warmed pulled pork evenly over the bottom half of the buns.
  • Top with mac & cheese. Place top half of buns on top of mac & cheese.
  • In a small bowl, combine 3 tablespoons melted butter, garlic salt, parsley, and brown sugar. Brush over the tops of the slider buns.
  • Sprinkle parmesan cheese over the tops of the buns.
  • Bake for 10-15 minutes or until the tops of the sliders are golden brown. Serve hot or at room temperature.
