Ingredients
The following ingredients have 10 Servings
- 3 lb pork roast
- 4 cups beef broth
- 1/2 can coke (optional)
- 1 pkg au jus seasoning
- 2 cups bbq sauce (I like Baby Rays)
- 1/4 cup mustard
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 tbsp vinegar
Instruction
- For the Crockpot: Cook the pork roast, broth, coke and au jus seasoning on low for 8-12 hours or on high for 5-7 hours or until fork tender. Skip to step 4.
- For the Instant Pot: Place the pork roast, broth, coke and au jus seasoning in the liner of the Instant Pot.
- Cook on Manual HIGH for 90 minutes and then allow for a 30 minutes NPR.
- Carefully remove the roast and discard liquid.
- Shred the pork and then return to the liner.
- Add in the bbq sauce, mustard, ketchup, brown sugar and vinegar. Mix well.
- Cover and let it either sit on Low for 30 minutes or turn the saute function and simmer until the brown sugar has all dissolved.
- Serve on toasted buns.
