Ingredients

The following ingredients have 3 Servings
  • Puffed rice 250 gms (1 large bowl)
  • Finely chopped Onions (Green Vegetables and green peas of your choice)
  • Slitted green Chillies 3
  • Lemon juice 2 tea spoons
  • Roasted Peanuts 2 tb spoons
  • Salt
  • Turmeric powder 1/4 tea spoon
  • Coriander leaves and curry leaves
  • Oil 1 tb spoon
  • Mustard seeds (urad dal and chana dal for seasoning)

Instruction

  • Heat a pan with oil. Do the seasoning with mustard seeds and dals. Once they splutter add the turmeric powder, onions and green chillies and fry.
  • Then add the green peas, curry leaves and other vegetables with salt. Stir them well. Add the roasted peanuts.
  • While they are getting cooked, take the puffed rice in strainer and show it in the running water for few seconds. Squeeze them out without water and add to the pan. Stir well.
  • Switch off the stove. Add the lemon juice and coriander leaves. The healthy breakfast is ready to serve now.
