Ingredients
The following ingredients have 12 Servings
- 16 Apples ((use as many as will fit))
- 1 quart Apple Cider (or 16 more apples)
- 2 whole Cinnamon Sticks
- 5 Green Cardamon Pods
- 2 Whole Allspice
- 2 whole Whole Cloves
- Pinch Whole Nutmeg
- 1/2 inch Fresh Ginger Root ((or 1/4 tsp ground))
- 2 Oranges (divided)
- 1/2 cup Dark Brown Sugar
Instruction
- Core apples and place into pressure cooker cooking pot.
- Lock on lid and close pressure valve. Cook at high pressure for 15 minutes. When beep sounds, wait 5 minutes and then release the pressure.
- Place apples into cheesecloth and mash and strain juice back into cooking pot. Either do another round of apples, add 1 quart of apple cider.
- Add juice of one orange, all spices and sugar. Lock on lid and close pressure valve. Cook at high pressure for 5 minutes. When beep sounds, wait 5 minutes and release the rest of the pressure.
- Remove lid and add orange slices. Keep pot on "Keep Warm."
