Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 1 tbs Peanut oil
- 500 g Raw peeled prawns deveined, peeled, tails intact, (buy 1 kg)
- 2 clove(s) Garlic thinly sliced
- 2 tsp Fresh ginger finely grated
- 2 individual Green shallot(s) cut into 2cm lengths
- 1 tbs Soy sauce
- 2 tbs Oyster sauce
- 2 tbs Chicken stock
- 1 g Fresh red chilli thinly sliced
- 1 tsp Sesame seeds toasted
Instruction
- Heat a wok over high heat. Add half the oil and heat for 30 seconds. Stir-fry prawns for 2–3 minutes or until prawns change colour and are just cooked through. Transfer to a plate.
- Reheat wok over high heat. Add remaining oil and heat for 30 seconds. Add garlic, ginger and shallots and stir-fry for 30 seconds. Add soy and oyster sauces and stock and stir-fry for 30 seconds.
- Return prawns to wok and stir-fry for 1 minute or until heated through. Serve prawns sprinkled with chilli and sesame seeds.
