Ingredients

The following ingredients have 6 Servings
  • 500 grams prawns (cleaned)
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 2 tsp ginger garlic paste
  • 2 tsp red chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper powder
  • 1/4 tsp garam masala powder
  • coriander leaves for garnishing

Instruction

  • After cleaning the prawns, heat them in a pan till all the water dries up. Keep aside.
  • In a non stick pan, heat oil and add the ginger garlic paste. Fry till the raw smell vanishes from the ginger garlic paste.
  • Next add in the prawns and fry for a couple of minutes while stirring. Be careful not to burn the masala.
  • Add in the red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, black pepper powder and garam masala powder. Stir well. If necessary sprinkle some water. Fry till the masala is well incorporated and coated well with the prawns. It shouldn't take that long to cook as the seafood gets cooked pretty fast.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves and lemon wedges before serving.
