Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 18 ozs Linguine
  • 3 Tbsps olive oil
  • 1 shallot (finely chopped)
  • 1 clove garlic cloves (finely chopped)
  • 2 cups King prawn (ready to cook)
  • cayenne pepper
  • grated lemon zest
  • 0.25 cup dry white wine
  • 0.25 cup vegetable stock
  • 0.375 cup cream (at least 30% fat)
  • 0.5 bunch parsley (finely chopped)

Instruction

  • Cook the pasta in boiling salted water for 8-10 min until al dente.
  • Heat the oil in a pan and fry the shallot and garlic. Add the prawns and fry for a few minutes. Season with salt, cayenne pepper and a pinch of lemon zest and deglaze with the wine.
  • As soon as the wine has almost fully evaporated, add the stock and the cream and season to taste.
  • Drain the pasta, stir into the sauce, sprinkle with parsley and serve. Goes well with a fresh salad.
