Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 50 g unsalted butter
  • 70 g store-bought brown shrimp
  • very small pinch cayenne pepper
  • very small pinch ground mace
  • generous pinch of salt
  • snipped chives (to garnish (optional))
  • Quick Keto Chia Bread (Fats of Life recipe (not included in macros))

Instruction

  • Melt the butter in a small pan. Add a very small pinch of cayenne pepper and ground mace and season generously with salt.
  • Fill a small, shallow (or appropriately-sized) dish with the brown shrimp (don't worry, the store-bought brown shrimp is cooked). Drizzle over the melted butter.
  • Cover with cling film and leave in the fridge for at least 3 hours.
  • Remove from the fridge 1 hour before using. You want the butter soft enough to spread easily. Garnish the surface with another pinch cayenne pepper and some snipped chives. Serve with toasted slices of Quick Keto Chia Bread (not included in macros).
