- 1 green chili (chopped (optional))
- ½ to ¾ teaspoon grated ginger
- ¼ to ½ teaspoon red chili powder ((adjust to taste))
- ¼ to ½ teaspoon garam masala powder ((adjust to taste))
- ⅛ teaspoon turmeric
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice ((optional) (or ¼ teaspoon amchur))
- ¼ to ⅓ teaspoon salt ((optional))
- 1 tbsp coriander leaves ( (finely chopped))
- 1 teaspoon ghee ((optional))
- 4 slices bread ((prefer wholemeal or sourdough bread))
- 2 tbsp butter (or oil (as needed for toasting))
- ¼ cup green chutney ((optional or schezwan sauce))
