Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 3 potatoes (cut into small pieces)
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- few curry leaves
- 1 teaspoon urad dal
- 3-4 garlic cloves
- 1 onion (sliced)
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp salt or to taste
- 1 tsp red chili powder
Instruction
- Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds.
- When the mustard seeds, add the cumin, garlic, curry leaves and urad dal.
- Fry for a minute, add the onion.
- Fry the onions till brown, add the salt and turmeric.
- Add potatoes, mix well. Add little water.
- Cook covered on low heat till the potatoes are done.
- Finally, add the red chili powder and mix well. Serve hot.
