Ingredients

The following ingredients have 2 Servings
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 teaspoon dashi powder, or 2 cups homemade dashi*
  • 2 tablespoons miso paste
  • 1 medium potato
  • 2 slices short cut bacon, diced
  • 1/2 cup corn kernels
  • sliced green onions, optional

Instruction

  • Boil the water in a saucepan and add the dashi powder (or boil homemade dashi). Add potato and bacon to cook for about 5 minutes. Add corn and the miso paste and dissolve it into the saucepan. Lower the heat and simmer for another 5 minutes. Serve in a small bowl and garnish with green onion (optional).
