- olive oil for the pot
- ¾ cup roughly chopped onion
- 2½ teaspoons finely chopped, fresh rosemary, (washed and dried)
- ½ teaspoon ground cloves
- 2 pounds Yukon Gold potatoes, (peeled and roughly chopped)
- ¾ pound roasted, peeled chestnuts (roughly chopped)
- 4 cups vegetable stock
- salt and pepper to taste
