Ingredients
The following ingredients have 6 Servings
- 1 kg potatoes chopped
- 1 tbs olive oil
- 1 onion sliced
- 4 bacon rashers sliced
- 10 beef sausages thin
- 1 tbs Worcestershire sauce
- 3 tbs tomato sauce
- 3 tbs barbecue sauce
- 35 g French onion soup mix
- 1 tbs plain flour
- 1/2 cup cheese grated
- 1 1/2 cups water
Instruction
- Boil potatoes in a saucepan until tender. Mash potatoes to desired taste.
- Preheat oven to 200C.
- Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat and fry onion and bacon.
- When onion is tender add the sausages and cook until browned.
- Once browned, remove pan from heat and cut the sausages into thick pieces.
- Mix together sauces, soup mix, flour and 1½ cups water.
- Return pan to the heat, add sauce to the sausages, mix and bring to the boil.
- Place mixture into a medium-sized casserole dish, top with mashed potato and grated cheese.
- Bake for 30 minutes.
