Ingredients
The following ingredients have 3 Servings
- 1 tablespoon Robust Pompeian Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 3-4 bone-in pork chops
- 1 granny smith apple, sliced
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
- 1 peach, sliced
- 1/3 cup low sodium chicken broth
- 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1 tablespoon dry white wine
- 2 sprigs thyme
- parsley for extra garnish
Instruction
- In a skillet over medium heat add the olive oil and coat the entire pan. Season the pork chops generously with salt and pepper on each side. Add to the skillet and sear each side for 5-6 minutes and then remove from skillet. Add apple slices to the skillet along with the butter. Saute for 3 minutes and then add in peaches. Stir in the broth, nutmeg, wine and thyme. Bring to a boil and then add in the pork chops. Place skillet on low heat and cook for an additional 5-8 minutes or until pork chops or cooked through. Serve with parsley as an extra garnish.
