The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 1 cup channa dal (or senagapappu)
  • 1¾ to 2 cups water
  • 1½ cup jaggery (grated or palm jaggery or sugar)
  • 2 tbsps coconut (fresh (optional))
  • ¼ tsp green cardamom powder
  • ¾ cup urad dal (or minapappu)
  • 1¼ cup raw rice
  • 1 pinch salt
  • Oil for deep frying (as needed)
