Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 1 full rack pork ribs (approx 3 pounds)
  • 4 Tbsps BBQ seasoning or favorite dry rub
  • 2 Tbsps water or beer
  • 3/4 cup ketchup
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup white vinegar
  • 2 Tbsps Pomegranate Molasses (link to order in post above)
  • 2 Tbsps Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp ground red pepper

Instruction

  • Pat the ribs dry with a paper towel, and season all sides with BBQ seasoning.
  • Place the ribs in a smoker set to 225 degrees for 3 hours.
  • Wrap the ribs in foil and add water or beer to each foil packet. Place the foil wrapped ribs back into the smoker for 2 more hours.
  • While the ribs are in the smoker, make the sauce. Put the ketchup, brown sugar, vinegar, Pomegranate Molasses, Worcestershire sauce, and ground red pepper in a saucepan. Bring to a boil and simmer on low for 4 to 5 minutes. Set aside.
  • Unwrap the ribs, place back on the smoker for 1 more hour, brushing with the Pomegranate Molasses BBQ sauce periodically.
  • Serve with the remaining sauce on the side.
