Ingredients
The following ingredients have 12 Servings
- 240 g self-raising flour
- 1/4 cup milk powder
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 pinch salt
- 90 g butter
- 150 ml water warmed
Instruction
- Sift flour, baking powder and salt into a large bowl.
- Add sugar, milk powder and butter.
- Mix using finger tips, until consistency of breadcrumbs.
- Add water and mix lightly until it is a fairly soft dough.
- Add a little flour and knead until it forms a ball then wrap in plastic wrap for 20 minutes or until doubled in size.
- Unwrap onto a floured bench and knead. Roll out, cut with a scone cutter and place on greased paper.
- Glaze with milk and bake at 180C until golden brown.
