Ingredients

The following ingredients have 5 Servings
  • 12 ounces italian sausage
  • 1 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup pepperoni, chopped
  • 14 ounces tomato sauce
  • 2 teaspoons italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 1/2 cups short cut pasta
  • 1 1/2 cups chicken stock
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Instruction

  • Heat a large skillet over medium high heat. Add Italian sausage and onions, breaking apart the sausage. Cook for 5-6 minutes, until cooked. Add garlic and pepperoni. Stir and cook for about 1 minute, until fragrant. Stir in tomato sauce, seasonings, pasta, and chicken stock. Bring to a boil. Cover and reduce heat to medium. Cook for 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is cooked. Sprinkle cheese over pasta. Cover and heat until melted. Serve immediately.
