Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 8 cups plum tomatoes (or other small tomatoes)
- 1 cup chia seeds or 2 cups flax seeds
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 teaspoon marjoram
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 1 teaspoon basil
- 1 teaspoon parsley
- 1 teaspoon rosemary
- 1 teaspoon sage
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup diced onion
Instruction
- Juice tomatoes, saving 1 1/2 cups of the pulp. Add the juice to the chia seeds (or flax seeds).
- After seeds have soaked for about 30 minutes, add tomato pulp, diced onion, and herbs, and mix in a food processor. Fold in soaked chia seeds.
- Spoon teaspoon or tablespoon sized spoonfuls - depending on what size you want your crackers - onto a Teflon sheet and dehydrate for 20-28 hours at 105°.
