The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 2 puff pastry sheets (thawed)
- Tomato puree
- Oregano
- Salt to taste
- Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- Mozzarella (shredded)
- Egg (beaten)
Instruction
- Mix together the tomato puree, oregano, a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil, and salt to taste. Keep aside.
- Cut out two Christmas tree shapes from the puff pastry sheets.
- Spread some of the prepared pizza sauce on one of the puff pastry Christmas trees. Top with shredded mozzarella and cover with the other tree.
- Cut out the branches with a sharp knife and press the sides to close well. Twist the branches and add a star at the top.
- Brush with beaten egg and bake at 180°C – 355°F for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Serve warm or at room temperature.
