Ingredients
The following ingredients have 10 Servings
- 2 cups pine apple (cut into small pieces,)
- 1 cup Sugar
- 2 sticks dal chini
- 2 cloves
- 2 tbsp raisins
- 1 tsp red chilli powder
- 1 and 1/2 tsp saunf
- Salt (to taste ,)
- 1 cup water
- 1 tsp mustard oil
- 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
- 2 whole red chilies
Instruction
- Dissolve the sugar with 1cup of water in a pan and bring to a boil. Add the pineapple pieces, cinnamon and cloves.
- Simmer over a slow flame for 10 minutes until the pineapple pieces are soft and cooked and the syrup is of 1 string consistency.
- add the raisins, chili powder, fennel seeds and salt. Mix well. Heat oil in a kadai. Add mustard seeds and red chilies. Add this oil to launji. cool completely .
