Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 1 pound(s) hamburger must be 80/20 or better (can also use ground turkey)
- 1/4 cup(s) tomato sauce
- 1/2 cup(s) raisins
- 1/2 cup(s) chopped green pepper (bell pepper)
- 2 pinch(es) oregano, dried
- 1 - whole bay leaf
- 1/2 teaspoon(s) cumin
- 1 tablespoon(s) white vinegar
- 1 - medium spanish onion (chopped)
- 1/2 cup(s) green sliced olives
- 1 - medium tomato (chopped)
- 1 tablespoon(s) powered garlic or 2 cloves (minced)
- 1 tablespoon(s) oiive oil
- - salt to taste
- - black beans to top your picadillo
- 1 can(s) black beans
- 1 tablespoon(s) olive oil
- 1/2 - sliced green pepper
- 1/2 - spanish onion sliced (like onion rings look)
- 1/2 teaspoon(s) cumin
- 1 tablespoon(s) garlic minced
Instruction
- Dice up onion, green pepper,and tomato's put in pan with 1 Tablespoon olive oil. when tender, add oregano,cumin tomato sauce bay leaf and stir well.
- Put heat on high and add hamburger as meat browns add raisins,olives,and cook until meat is done,(DO NOT STOP STIRRING)
- When meat is cooked add vineger. I serve mine with white rice and black beans.
