Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 1/2 cup butter (room temperature)
- 1/2 cup light brown sugar (packed)
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1 egg
- 2 cups flour
- 1 tsp cornstarch
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instruction
- Preheat oven to 350°.
- Cream butter and sugars together for a full 3 minutes.
- Scrape sides of bowl and thoroughly mix in the egg and vanilla.
- Add all dry ingredients the the bowl and mix just until the dough forms. The dough should not stick to the sides of the bowl. If it does, add a bit more flour.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Scoop dough onto a parchment or silicone lined cookie sheet.
- Bake at 350° for 8-10 minutes. Pull the cookies out once the centers don't look glossy anymore.
- Let the cookies cool for 5-10 minutes on the pan before transferring to a wire cooling rack.
- Enjoy with a large glass of milk! These store well for up to 3 days in an airtight container..If they last that long. :)
