Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 1/2 cup butter (room temperature)
  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar (packed)
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instruction

  • Preheat oven to 350°.
  • Cream butter and sugars together for a full 3 minutes. 
  • Scrape sides of bowl and thoroughly mix in the egg and vanilla.
  • Add all dry ingredients the the bowl and mix just until the dough forms. The dough should not stick to the sides of the bowl. If it does, add a bit more flour.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips.
  • Scoop dough onto a parchment or silicone lined cookie sheet. 
  • Bake at 350° for 8-10 minutes. Pull the cookies out once the centers don't look glossy anymore. 
  • Let the cookies cool for 5-10 minutes on the pan before transferring to a wire cooling rack. 
  • Enjoy with a large glass of milk! These store well for up to 3 days in an airtight container..If they last that long. :)
