  • 1/4 cup unsweetened apple sauce
  • 3 cups gluten free flour blend (I have made these cookies with Namaste Perfect Flour Blend and Now Foods GF Flour)
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup vegan buttery spread
  • 2 1/2 cups confectioner’s sugar
  • 1 - 2 Tablespoons non-dairy milk (or water)
  • colored sugar or sprinkles (optional)
  • chocolate candies (optional)
