Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 4 ripe bananas
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg (beaten)
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • Ghirardelli 60% Bittersweet Chocolate Baking Chips
  • Walnuts

Instruction

  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray a 9x5 loaf pan with non-stick spray, set aside.
  • Mash the bananas in a bowl.
  • Add all the remaining ingredients and mix well with a wooden spoon. (Add more chocolate chips and walnuts to batter, if you want more that what is going on top.)
  • Pour batter into loaf pan and then add chocolate chips and nuts on top.
  • Bake 55 to 60 minutes, or until a toothpick stuck into the bread comes out clean.
  • Slice and serve.
