Ingredients
The following ingredients have 6 Servings
- 1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef
- 1 (7 ounce) package pepperoni, (chopped)
- 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 6 hamburger buns
- 3/4 cup pizza sauce
- 6 mozzarella or provolone slices
Instruction
- In a large mixing bowl, add ground beef, pepperoni, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper.
- Gently mix together until all ingredients are incorporated. I like to use my hands for this part (washed thoroughly before and after, of course)
- Form your meat mixture into 6 balls, then press into circular patties.
- Place your patties on your preheated and hot grill. Cook on the first side until you start to see juices build up on the top, about 4-7 minutes
- Flip your patties and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, or until patties are cooked through to your liking. If you're using cheese, add it now.
- Place warm hamburgers on buns. Top with a cheese slice and about 2 tablespoons pizza sauce for topping.
