Ingredients

The following ingredients have 6 Servings
  • 1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef
  • 1 (7 ounce) package pepperoni, (chopped)
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 6 hamburger buns
  • 3/4 cup pizza sauce
  • 6 mozzarella or provolone slices

Instruction

  • In a large mixing bowl, add ground beef, pepperoni, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper.
  • Gently mix together until all ingredients are incorporated. I like to use my hands for this part (washed thoroughly before and after, of course)
  • Form your meat mixture into 6 balls, then press into circular patties.
  • Place your patties on your preheated and hot grill. Cook on the first side until you start to see juices build up on the top, about 4-7 minutes
  • Flip your patties and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, or until patties are cooked through to your liking. If you're using cheese, add it now.
  • Place warm hamburgers on buns. Top with a cheese slice and about 2 tablespoons pizza sauce for topping.
