Ingredients
The following ingredients have 7 Servings
- 1 cup (240 milliliters) heavy cream
- 12 ounces (340 grams) milk chocolate (finely chopped or chips)
- 1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract
- 3 candy canes (chopped)
- 2 cups (120 grams) miniature marshmallows
- Chopped candy canes
- Mini chocolate chips
- Graham crackers
Instruction
- In a small saucepan, place the cream over medium heat. Once it is starting to steam, but not yet boiling, remove from heat and add the chocolate.
- Allow to sit for 1 minute before gently stirring until smooth. Stir in the peppermint extract.
- Divide the mixture among mini broiler-safe dishes or in one larger broiler-safe serving dish.
- Allow the ganache to cool at room temperature until starting to thicken.
- Sprinkle the chopped candy canes over the chocolate ganache. Top completely with marshmallows.
- Set the broiler to low. Arrange the mini or large serving dishes on a baking sheet and place on the center rack of the oven. Broil until the marshmallows are toasted to desired color.
- Sprinkle the top with chopped candy canes and mini chocolate chips. Serve immediately with graham crackers.
