Ingredients

The following ingredients have 7 Servings
  • 1 cup (240 milliliters) heavy cream
  • 12 ounces (340 grams) milk chocolate (finely chopped or chips)
  • 1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract
  • 3 candy canes (chopped)
  • 2 cups (120 grams) miniature marshmallows
  • Chopped candy canes
  • Mini chocolate chips
  • Graham crackers

Instruction

  • In a small saucepan, place the cream over medium heat. Once it is starting to steam, but not yet boiling, remove from heat and add the chocolate.
  • Allow to sit for 1 minute before gently stirring until smooth. Stir in the peppermint extract.
  • Divide the mixture among mini broiler-safe dishes or in one larger broiler-safe serving dish.
  • Allow the ganache to cool at room temperature until starting to thicken.
  • Sprinkle the chopped candy canes over the chocolate ganache. Top completely with marshmallows.
  • Set the broiler to low. Arrange the mini or large serving dishes on a baking sheet and place on the center rack of the oven. Broil until the marshmallows are toasted to desired color.
  • Sprinkle the top with chopped candy canes and mini chocolate chips. Serve immediately with graham crackers.
