Ingredients

The following ingredients have 24 Servings
  • 15 ounces box of chocolate cake mix OR your own homemade recipe
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 1/4 cups water
  • 24 York Peppermint patties to put on each cupcake

Instruction

  • Prepare the cake according to the instructions. 
  • Line muffin tins with cupcake liners. 
  • Fill liners two-thirds full, then place an unwrapped peppermint patty on top. 
  • Place enough batter on top to cover the peppermint patty. 
  • Bake in a 350 degree oven for 17-10 minutes, until the top of the cupcakes spring back when touched or a tester inserted into the middle comes out clean. 
  • Cool on racks. 
  • Frost with my Peppermint Buttercream Icing. Serve and enjoy!
