Ingredients
The following ingredients have 24 Servings
- 15 ounces box of chocolate cake mix OR your own homemade recipe
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 3 eggs
- 1 1/4 cups water
- 24 York Peppermint patties to put on each cupcake
Instruction
- Prepare the cake according to the instructions.
- Line muffin tins with cupcake liners.
- Fill liners two-thirds full, then place an unwrapped peppermint patty on top.
- Place enough batter on top to cover the peppermint patty.
- Bake in a 350 degree oven for 17-10 minutes, until the top of the cupcakes spring back when touched or a tester inserted into the middle comes out clean.
- Cool on racks.
- Frost with my Peppermint Buttercream Icing. Serve and enjoy!
