Ingredients

The following ingredients have 5 Servings
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon Kosher salt
  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • For the topping:
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 6 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 cup pecan halves

Instruction

  • Preheat oven to 375°F and grease an 8x8-inch baking dish or pie pan with nonstick spray.
  • In a large bowl, mix together the oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, milk, eggs, and vanilla. Pour over oat mixture and stir to combine.
  • Pour into prepared baking dish and bake 10 minutes. Meanwhile, make the topping:
  • Add butter, brown sugar, and maple syrup to a small saucepan and bring to a boil over medium heat. Stir in pecans.
  • Remove oatmeal from oven and top with pecan mixture. Return to oven and bake 10-15 minutes more.
  • Serve warm or room temperature and enjoy!
