Ingredients
The following ingredients have 5 Servings
- 2 cups rolled oats
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon Kosher salt
- 1 tablespoon butter, melted
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- For the topping:
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 6 tablespoons maple syrup
- 1 cup pecan halves
Instruction
- Preheat oven to 375°F and grease an 8x8-inch baking dish or pie pan with nonstick spray.
- In a large bowl, mix together the oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, milk, eggs, and vanilla. Pour over oat mixture and stir to combine.
- Pour into prepared baking dish and bake 10 minutes. Meanwhile, make the topping:
- Add butter, brown sugar, and maple syrup to a small saucepan and bring to a boil over medium heat. Stir in pecans.
- Remove oatmeal from oven and top with pecan mixture. Return to oven and bake 10-15 minutes more.
- Serve warm or room temperature and enjoy!
