Ingredients

The following ingredients have 4 Servings
  • 4 Bartlett pears
  • 2 cups rosé wine
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 lemon (juiced)

Instruction

  • Peel, core and quarter the pears.  Place in a heavy saucepan.  Add in the remaining ingredients and simmer on medium/low heat for 20-30 minutes or until pears are tender.
  • Remove pears and place in a food processor to puree.  Carefully add the wine mixture and mix well to combine.
  • Place mixture in a bowl and chill in the fridge for about an hour.
  • Transfer to a freezer container and freeze for at least 6 hours.
