Ingredients

The following ingredients have 1 Servings
  • 1/2 cup quinoa
  • 1 pear
  • 1 small cucumber
  • 2-3 sun-dried tomatoes
  • 2 tsp Balsamic vinaigrette
  • 1 tsp Extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/4 tsp of dried mixed herbs
  • 1-2 jalapenos
  • few drops of chili oil
  • Salt

Instruction

  • Rinse the quinoa under running water for 2-3 minutes.
  • Bring 1 cup of water to boil in a saucepan. Once it gets boiling, add the washed quinoa and reduce the flame to a simmer. Cook for 12-14 minutes.
  • Once the water is absorbed, cover saucepan with a plate and remove from flame. Let it stand for 5 minutes. Uncover and fluff up the quinoa grains with a fork.
  • Chop the pear and cucumber into bite sized pieces.
  • Chop the sun-dried tomatoes into smaller bits.
  • Take all the ingredients into a mixing bowl and toss gently to mix.
