Ingredients
The following ingredients have 4 Servings
- 1 Tbsp sesame oil
- 1 onion (diced)
- 1 red bell pepper (diced)
- 1 carrot (shredded)
- 1 Tbsp garlic paste or minced garlic
- 1 Tbsp ginger paste or minced ginger
- 1 pound ground chicken
- 4 Tbsps peanut butter
- 3 Tbsps hoisin sauce
- 2 Tbsps soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp honey
- 1 head butter or boston lettuce
- Optional toppings: chopped peanuts, green onions, Sriracha
Instruction
- In a large skillet over medium heat add the sesame oil, onion, red pepper, and carrot. Cook 4-5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Add the garlic paste, ginger paste, and ground chicken. Cook 4-5 minutes, stirring occasionally and breaking apart the ground chicken.
- Add the peanut butter, hoisin sauce, soy sauce, and honey. Cook 4-5 more minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Let cool slightly and fill the lettuce leaves with the chicken mixture. Top with chopped peanuts, green onions, and/or Sriracha if desired.
